Jia Fu is known for being outspoken, personable and quick-witted when dealing with his cases. Jia Fu is a legal associate with the Dispute Resolution department of Josephine, L K Chow & Co. As a litigator, Jia Fu is determined to provide practical, effective and innovative legal solutions, including taking calculated, pre-emptive measures to safeguard his clients’ personal, commercial and financial interests. Jia Fu’s determination and character has allowed Jia Fu to secure many favourable results for his clients. As an articulate, persuasive and convincing person, Jia Fu is game to take on any cases, big or small, that comes his way, whilst his calm and collected demeanor makes him a formidable opponent who acts without fear or favour. 

Throughout his journey in the legal industry, Jia Fu has handled various complex, contentious and non-contentious civil disputes in different areas of the law, ranging from commercial, contractual, matrimonial, debt recovery, defamation, landlord and tenancy, insolvency as well as probate and administration matters. He has appeared and conducted cases from the Subordinate Courts up to the Court of Appeal. As a litigator, Jia Fu believes that not all disputes are suited to be decided by the courts as court proceedings on most occasions only contribute resistance to resolving disputes. 

Jia Fu graduated from University of Liverpool with Honours in 2018. Thereafter, he completed his Certificate in Legal Practice (‘CLP’) in 2019 and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2021. 

Outside of the legal realm, Jia Fu enjoys watching stand-up comedy and catching up with his buddies.
