Chan Wei Yang, a BPTC Graduate from BPP Whitehall Leeds, was called to the Malaysian Bar in March 2022. During his time as a pupil-in-chambers, Wei Yang was exposed to general litigation matters, including defamation suits, contract and commercial disputes, and intellectual property cases. Notably, he was involved in a Federal Court matter on trademark infringement in his first year of practice. Currently, Wei Yang is a legal associate of the Dispute Resolution department.

In his personal time, Wei Yang enjoys a variety of sports and e-sports as well. He finds the balance by engaging in sports and games such as badminton, chess and strategic games such as DOTA 2. These activities help him unwind and maintain mental sharpness after a long day of work, ensuring that he is able to reset fully with renewed focus for the next day.
