Kang Ying graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2019. She subsequently obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in 2021. She joined Josephine, L K Chow & Co. in October 2021 as a pupil-in-chambers.

Before commencing her pupillage, Kang Ying had prior internship experience in Messrs. Tay Chambers where she supported the lawyers in preparing cause papers for trial proceedings where she undertook in-depth research work on various legal topics and issues. She is particularly interested in the fields of Dispute Resolution and Commercial Law and is always keen to explore relevant knowledge. 

Back in her university days, Kang Ying was actively involved in community outreach services which allowed her to meet people from different backgrounds and made her a great team player. During her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and studying foreign literature.
