Eu Jin joined Josephine, LK Chow & Co. in 2015. He is now a Senior Associate and an integral member of the firm’s Dispute Resolution Department where he supports the Partner-in-Charge with the General Litigation portfolio that encompasses the whole gamut of litigation cases.
Eu Jin has acted for and is currently representing clients (both local clients and global clients based abroad) in contractual disputes, tortious claims, land disputes as well as construction and adjudication claims. Apart from his regular appearances in Court, he occasionally negotiates and renders legal advice on general commercial agreements, debt recovery matters, probates and administration of estates.
Eu Jin read Law at the University of Aberystwyth in Wales, United Kingdom and graduated with a Bachelor-of-Laws (Honours) Degree in 2010. He obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in 2011, and was the Book Prize Winner of the Law Faculty Dean’s Award for the Professional Practice Paper. Eu Jin was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2012.
Eu Jin completed his pupillage at Sreenevasan Young, where he developed a keen interest in Litigation and Dispute Resolution that continues to this day. In 2012, he joined Azim Tunku Farik & Wong, a firm that gave him valuable exposure to medico-legal litigation concerning contentious and non-contentious medico-legal issues.
Eu Jin was subsequently employed by Rahmat Lim & Partners. There, he encountered good mentors who helped him to acquire the necessary expertise and experience in areas pertaining to infrastructure development, construction and arbitration practices. He supported the team there with the drafting of concession and power purchase agreements, and also various dispute cases relating to energy projects.
Outside legal practice, Eu Jin enjoys spending most of his time with his family. He also likes travelling and snapping photos (usually of food!).
